KnitKnights is a enthusiastic band of knitters crocheters and fiber fans who enjoy sharing our skills and spending time together. Beginner to advanced knitters and crocheters of all ages are welcome.
During Covid: Weather permitting we will meet outdoors until the library reopens. If you are not currently on our mailing list, write to me. Our list is private. We send only one email per week during this virtual meeting period.
Post Covid: To become part of this group, join us at the library any Monday evening at 6:30 with (or without) your yarn and needles or hook. We have supplies on hand to get you started, as well as some experienced knitters happy to lend a hand in either craft.
As a library sponsored group, there is no fee to join us or become a member. We do however maintain a kitty to fund regular expenses such as coffee/tea and snack supplies plus our 4th Monday birthday cake. A freewill contribution of $1 per week is suggested. The Kitty is held by our Treasurer. When spending needs arise, everyone present is asked for their approval.
We knit and chat until 7:30, time for Show & Share. S&S gives each person a chance to introduce themselves and show us what they are working on. Mini-workshops and/or knit-alongs often spring from group interest in someone's project.
Do check our website often to see what we're up to. Find upcoming events and relevant links. Download our free patterns. Join our activities. Your participation makes us thrive.
We welcome you, online and in person, to KnitKnights.
